The transparent part of the baby bottle can be heated to 220°C without any problem whatsoever. This is one of the reasons why this baby bottle can be used in hospitals and medical facilities. The material is scratch-resistant and UV-resistant. The bottle is easy to sterilise in the microwave. As Ultrason is transparent, it is extremely easy for the parent to see how much their baby is drinking. Since its introduction, the new material has worked so convincingly that Difrax is giving a 30-year guarantee on the transparent part of the baby bottle.
The bottle contains no bisphenol A (BPA).
Bisphenol A is a substance used in the manufacture of polycarbonate: a hard, transparent, durable plastic. Products made from polycarbonate include baby bottles, and bottles for dairy products and soft drinks.
